Lymphatic Therapy / Drainage

Alt Med Services uses Lymphstar Pro® technology for lymphatic therapy sessions. This instrument was found to assist and amplify the effects of manual lymph drainage, reducing the time and complexity of the therapy. Lymphatic therapy / drainage is used to stimulate lymphatic flow by removing lymphatic blockages, thus helping to build the immune system. Some conditions reported to have benefited from therapy include breast lumps, inflammation, chronic pain, joint aches, allergies, sinus, respiratory problems, headaches, prostate problems, hormone imbalance and chronic female conditions, cellulite, dental trauma, heavy metal toxicity, neuromusclar trauma, immune and fatigue problems.

This service is $45.00 per treatment. The treatment time is 45 to 55 minutes. We have a dedicated therapy room and our trained professionals will always respect your privacy while attending to your body's needs.

Lymphatic therapy may be helpful for any imbalanced condition of the system as part of a holistic approach to health restoration or maintenance. It is compatible and synergistic with all forms of naturopathic medicine (herbs, nutrition, supplements), bodywork and structural therapies, bio-energy medicine techniques (homeopathy, polarity, radionics, vibrational remedies, electro dermal, etc.), and under the advice of a physician, medical care.

Your Lymphatic System

The lymphatic system is a complicated network of vessels, ducts, and nodes that move fluid between the cells and tissues. It is the most underrated part of the circulatory system in the human body. And sadly, many health-care practitioners rarely consider the critical role lymph plays in preventing sickness and keeping us healthy.

Our lymphatic system is primarily responsible for carrying disease-fighting material to cells attacked by germs, transporting the dead germs away and supplying protein-rich plasma fluid back to the heart. When this system is blocked, we become defenseless against attacks by virus, fungi, and bacteria.

Unlike your venous system, your lymphatic system has no pumping mechanism to keep the fluid circulating through the body. Therefore, the lymphatic system is always at a higher risk for blockage. Blockages can occur from normal stressors such as: illness, tight-fitting clothing including bras, ties, jockey shorts & pantyhose, lack of exercise, Bumps, bruises, and other injuries, exposure to heavy metals, pesticides and herbicides, impaired circulation, food allergies or sensitivities, surgery, or stress.

Randy McCormick provides this service as an effective method to reduce acute and chronic pain and to target specific organs and organ systems that need balance. Therapeutic Massage
