Black Hawk is only 10 minutes North of Rapid City. The whole goal when entering Black Hawk is to get off or across the 4 lane highway 79 (Black) and onto the Service Road (Blue). Once you are on the Service Road you can take Bob Lane to Black Hawk Road or you can turn at Wells Fargo Bank and then turn right onto Black Hawk Road. Black Hawk Road is long and runs directly behind Wells Fargo and the Post Office.

You can get to Black Hawk by taking the interstate (I-90) to Exit 51 or you may use West Main Street in Rapid City which turns into Hwy 79. You know you are going the right direction (West Chicago) if you pass Freed's Furniture (on your left) and the "sand pit" on your right.
